DeCorGawdz Maryland takes pride in our design process from the initial intake through the Installation and the follow up.  It's our policy and desire that we design and create a fabulous livable space you'll love coming home to.  Our process includes the initial intake, Consultation, Contract Agreement, Design Process, Installation and Project Followup.


Initial Intake

Your Initial Intake form introduces you into our Design Process and shares your decor request(s), budget and timeframe in which you wish to start your project.  Once we've reviewed your request we follow up with welcoming you and next steps.


Our In-home Design Consultation usually lasts an hour. During the consultation we discuss your specific design needs, wants, must haves and absolute nots. We discuss design inspiration, personal style, photos and scan your space for accurate measurements. We discuss your proposed budget, start date and timeline. Lastly, we submit our retainer for your approval.

Instantly view our calendar, Consultations are scheduled on Mondays and Tuesdays each month unless otherwise noted.

A $100 plus tax Consultation fee is due, under separate proposal, before booking.

Contract Agreement

Let's Go! Once we've agreed to move forward, we submit your customized contract (Terms & Conditions) with the details of your scope of work, timeline and payment terms. It's vital that we establish a funding source at this stage as the project starts to progress quickly at this stage.

Design Process

We are in full project mode creating your design project based on our consultation. This process includes but is not limited to Color Selection, Furnishings, Accents & Decor to inspire your Mood board for approval. This ensures us that we've hit the mark and are all in agreement with your design. Upon approval of your Mood board, we solidify a proposal with all the agreed furnishings and decor, here you will have the option to approve and disapprove selections. At this time, we know you're excited, and we offer a 3D Rendering, so you can visualize furniture placement of your project. During the Design Process, we select preferred vendors for your painting, electrical and carpentry needs. Whereas we can assure the work of our select vendors, we will also work with outside vendors whom you've established a relationship with.


The Finale, we install your design project. During the Reveal, you'll be amazed to see everything we discussed, approved and sourced come together into the Fabulous Livable Space you desired.

Project Follow Up

After each project we conduct a call or in person visit to see how you're enjoying your Decor Project. During the project followup, your feedback and customer reviews are appreciated.
